CONGRATULATIONS TO THE TOWN OF LANE!
The Town of Lane, located in Williamsburg County, represented by Mayor Charlie Fulton and other council members, received the Smoke-Free Palmetto State Certification from Ms. Suzette McClellan, Community Engagement Director, and Mrs. Regina L. Nesmith-Dimery, Community
Engagement Manager, of the SC Department of Public Health for the Pee Dee Region. Additionally, the Executive Director of HOTL presented a Smoke-Free and Vape-Free Community sign to the Town of Lane, provided by HOTL’s Clean Air Is Fair campaign.

Congratulations to Mayor Michael Aiken and town council members of the Vance, SC, located in Orangeburg County, for adopting a smoke-free and vape-free ordinance for all enclosed workplaces. The ordinance went into effect on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.
